Vive Tablets / Bu Zhong Yi Qi Tang / Hochu-Ekki-To Astragalus & Ginseng Formula |
Information Resources
|
QiVive is based on the ancient-renowned Chinese formula Bu Zhong Yi Qi Tang or Hochu-Ekki-To in Japanese. In Japan, Kampo is the study and adaptation of Traditional Chinese Medicine and both disciplines share many of the same formulas but with different names. This multi-herb synergistic formula contains the two important bio-active herbs astragalus and ginseng. It is widely used to replenish Qi, promote physical stamina, improve mood and immune function. In Chinese medicine Qi is the principle of vital energy flows which when dimished cause the body and immune system to weaken which reduces their ability to resist diseases and infections. The benefits of Qi Vive tablets have been widely reported in Japan, Europe and the United States. Recent studies have concluded QiVive increases the activity of the blood's natural killer cells and serum gamma-interferon levels which the body uses to defend itself from pathogens, bacteria and viruses. It supports the immune system when it is suppressed as a result of radiation thereapy, chemotherapy, and stress as demonstrated in animal and human studies. Taken for a period of 8 to 12 weeks QiVive reduces chronic fatigue syndromes and helps prevent reoccurrences. Cancer patients taking this formula after chemotherapy and surgery have reported improved appetites, diarrhea, and more positive outlooks on life. |

Yu Ping Feng Tablets / Cold & Influenza Formula | Information Resources
|
Yu Ping Feng Wan (Jade Teapills) in English means Jade Screen and it is the most popular Chinese formula used today for strengthening the body's immune system to help it ward off bacteria, viruses and other pathogens. It is appropriate for people who are susceptible to colds or the flu or with symptoms that include chronic bronchitis, pale complexions, spontaneous sweating, aversion to wind and drafts, negative reactions to environmental pathogens and those wanting to boost their immune systems to prevent diseases. Modern researches has concluded that Yu Ping-Feng supports immune function by increasing IgG and IgA production, enhancing microphage function, and inhibiting the growth of the influenza virus H3N2. During the 2005 SARS outbreak in China, the Chinese Health Authority recommended all people in China to take Yu Ping Feng to prevent new infections and stop a super-flu pandemic from occurring in the country. |
