Jaundice Herbs

There are many cause of Jaundice including alcohol abuse, cirrhosis, gallstones, liver cancer, pancreatic cancer, primary sclerosing cholangitis, certain medications and viral hepatis. It is relatively simple to diagnose Jaundice because there is yellow staining of the skin and the whites of the eyes which may include other body tissues and fluids. The urine may turn dark due to the excess bilirubin being excreted through the kidneys. Other symptoms may include sking itching, clay colored stools, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, and fever. While the liver has the capacity to regenerate, most people with liver disease develop sequela that manifest in early stages as depression, apathy, low grade fever, personality changes, insomnia, weight loss, and mental impairments.
